Derek Weaver, director of cash management at Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc., recently received a $200,000 check in the mail,a big one among the 300 to 500 checks the hotel owner deposits every month.
Departments with at least one check deposit per week can be issued a check scanner. Deposits of cash still need to be brought to a Depository Service office. Check scanners can only be used on a PC.
