I get the comment often...'Wow, I didnt know people could still walk without their toes.' I wouldnt really call this walking. I have limited stability and really can only walk on level surfaces. • My 'walking' is more like someone walking on stilts. The leg braces I use give me the balance to walk, hike and jog. There are some people born with no toes and they learned to walk without them. Since my amputations were caused by blood clots and not diabetes..I dont have any remaining tissue damage.
