We met with Roderick Williams recently and he shared a work-in-progress of a new piece, Cusp, with us. It’s a work which we commissioned last year - we were very excited to hear it! Cusp acts as a prequel to The Dream of Gerontius, but while Elgar’s work is the story of one person dying and their soul going into purgatory, Cusp is about the people who remain behind.
